According to a report by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the UK's economy looks set to experience a 78% drop in the amount spent by tourists. This drop will result in a daily loss of 60 million pounds and a weekly loss of 420 million pounds for the nation. This setback will consequently put nearly 3 million jobs at risk in the UK’s travel and tourism sector.
